Covington, Ky.-based Braxton Brewing Co. announced plans to expand its presence to Fort Mitchell, Ky., with the opening of a new barrel-aging brewery and taproom. Expected to open this fall, the Braxton Barrel House will offer a unique experience for patrons by giving them the opportunity to create custom private-barrel picks of the company’s barrel-aged brews, it says.
San Diego-based Medical Marijuana Inc., a publically traded cannabis company, announced that its subsidiary Kannaway has released its new single-serve coffee and tea pods, which are infused with 10 mg of hemp-derived cannabidiol (CBD) in each pod, the company says. The single-serve coffee pods – Kannaway French Roast – are made with 100 percent premium Arabica coffee beans and are batch roasted by a fifth generation roast master, it adds.

An affiliate of Austin, Texas-based Peak Rock Capital, a middle-market private equity firm, announced that it has completed the previously announced acquisition of the Turkey Hill Dairy business from The Kroger Co.
Red Bull and SONIC, Oklahoma City, Okla., have combined forces to create the all-new Red Bull Slush this summer. The new SONIC Red Bull Slush serves up Red Bull in a frozen, icy Slush form. The foodservice outlet also is offering Cherry Limeade Red Bull Slush, which combines Red Bull with a SONIC icon.
Bud Light, a brand of St. Louis-based Anheuser-Busch, announced that it expanded its citrus portfolio with new Bud Light Lemon Tea. The new brew is a light lager brewed with real lemon peels and aged over real black tea leaves to give the beer a distinct flavor profile, the company says.
