2017 saw its fair share of exciting new product releases for the beverage market. The readers of Beverage Industry helped determine our monthly winner with the Readers’ Choice: New Product of the Month poll.

Based on those monthly winners, we asked the readers to once again tell us which of those winners was their favorite of the year. With 44 percent of the vote, Stillhouse Spiced Cherry Whiskey captured the title of the Readers’ Choice: Best New Product of the Year. The seasonal release is made by infusing Stillhouse Original whiskey with a blend of holiday spices, bold cherry and a hint of vanilla, the company says.

With just shy of a quarter of the votes (23 percent to be exact), Hillsburg non-alcohol malt beverages took second place. Originating from the German town of Liechtenstein, the brand offers eight flavors: Raspberry, Pure Honey, Pineapple, Apple, Regular, Honey with Ginger, Pomegranate and Strawberry.

Rounding out the Top 5 were Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey Coffee (8 percent), B4 Berry and Grape (7 percent) and Dunkin’ Donuts RTD Coffees (6 percent).

Although 2017 Readers’ Choice polls have come to an end, we already have kicked off 2018. The Readers’ Choice: New Product of the Month poll for January is taking place now through 11:59 p.m. ET on Feb. 19.

Be sure to cast your first vote for 2018 new product releases!
