Smirnoff Ice earns GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title
“The Miz” joins celebrations in Put-in-Bay, Ohio

Smirnoff Ice just officially earned the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for the Largest Display of Hot Dogs in Put-in-Bay.
The record-breaking moment brought together hundreds of fans in the Midwest party destination, alongside wrestling superstar and Ohio native Mike “The Miz” Mizanin, where they transformed hundreds of uniquely topped hot dogs into a larger-than-life Smirnoff Ice Red, White & Berry bottle.
The viral Smirnoff Ice limited-edition Doggie Bag also was on display, and consumers still have a chance to snag one in the next (and final!) drop ahead of Labor Day Weekend through @SmirnoffUSA.
“America’s 250th called for a celebration that was equal parts historic and completely ridiculous,” said Fergus McCarthy, director of Smirnoff Ice, in a statement. “For Smirnoff Ice, that meant bringing our own unexpected take to an iconic summer. Put-in-Bay was the perfect place to do it, and earning the Guinness World Record for the Largest Display of Hot Dogs felt like a fitting way to make a little Smirnoff Ice history of our own.”
