Big Easy Shots win monthly poll with nearly quarter of vote
As consumers demand more from today’s beverages, today’s manufacturers continue to develop innovations that meet that desire. In Beverage Industry’s New Product of the Month for August, the readers showed that function is a driving force.
With 24 percent of the vote, Big Easy Bucha’s new line of functional shots won the monthly poll. Big Easy Shot Probiotics Plus is available in Immunity, Detox and Beauty varieties. Formulated with nondairy probiotic cultures, the shots are vegan, Non-GMO Project Verified, and are certified gluten free and Kosher.
Coming in second was Miramar Rakia with 17 percent. The spirit is a brandy with floral aromas, complex fruit and spice flavor, the company says.
Rounding out the Top 3 was The Musician by Still Austin with 15 percent. The bourbon whiskey contains grains that are 100 percent Texas grown by Texas farmers from 70 percent non-GMO white corn, 25 percent elbon rye and 5 percent wildfire malted barley.
