Lower-middle-market private equity firm Huron Capital announced that its platform company Ronnoco Beverage Solutions, a manufacturer and distributor of premium quality coffee, tea and related products, has acquired Trident Beverage, a provider of high-quality beverages and dispensing products for a variety of foodservice establishments.
10 startups will receive $20K in grant funding, 6-month mentorship program

PepsiCo, Purchase, N.Y., announced the 10 emerging food and beverage brands that will join its second annual North America Greenhouse program. Each of the participating startups will receive $20,000 in grant funding and participate in a six-month business program designed to accelerate their growth through personalized mentorship.
Tenth and Blake Beer Co., the U.S. craft division of Chicago-based Molson Coors Beverage Co., announced an agreement to acquire Detroit-based Atwater Brewery.

New line adds to RTD coffee portfolio, introduces creamers

Broomfield, Colo.-based STōK Cold Brew, a brand of Danone North America, is giving consumers a new way to fuel their coffee with its latest line of products: STōK Fueled Creamers and Ready-to-Drink Coffee. The new beverages are geared toward those who are looking to jump-start their day as the STōK Fueled line includes extra calories from protein, butter and MCT oil, it says.
Domestic beer brand will help cover adoption fees for 1,000 participants

Coors Light, a brand of Chicago-based Molson Coors Brewing Co., is encouraging consumers to skip the cheesy Valentine's traditions and spend the day with a fur-ever friend. The domestic beer brand will even help pay fees for 1,000 dogs adopted between 12 p.m. CT on Feb. 4 and 11:59:59 p.m. CT on Feb. 21.
Stipe Miocic Extra Strength Coffee contains 333 mg of caffeine

Veteran and firefighter owned coffee company, Fire Department Coffee, Rockford, Ill., unveiled its new extra strength coffee with two times the caffeine. The highly caffeinated dark roast coffee, Stipe Miocic Extra Strength Coffee, contains 333 mg of caffeine — more than double the caffeine of a regular 8-ounce cup, the company says. The new coffee is named after five-time mixed martial arts heavyweight champion and firefighter Stipe Miocic.
Numi Organic Tea introduced its new plant-based packaging that features a bright, bold, ingredients-focused look, along with two new products that feature the new product, the company says.
Westrock Coffee purchases coffee, tea supplier for $405M

Cott Corp., Tampa, Fla., continues its transition into a pure-play water solutions provider with its announcement that it has entered into a definitive agreement pursuant to which Cott will sell S&D Coffee and Tea to Westrock Coffee Co. LLC for $405 million on a debt free and cash free basis, subject to a customary working capital adjustment, it says.
