Anaheim, Calif.-based Wonder Drink Kombucha announced that its newest Prebiotic kombucha line, Prebiotic Plus, will be available at Sprouts this month.
Data is showing that consumers are more worried about their health and are turning to functional foods and beverages for healthy solutions. To counter this, more people are proactively seeking nutrient-dense products that are good for the gut.
The trials demonstrated a significant prebiotic effect of increasing Lactobacillus, which poses the opportunity of reducing and/or eliminating the need for regular probiotic supplements.
