Detroit City Distillery celebrates paçzki season with return of Paçzki Day Vodka
Distillery throwing a Paçzki Day Party on Feb. 14

Small batch distillery Detroit City Distillery (DCD) is bringing back its Paçzki Day Vodka (PDV), a limited-release spirit distilled with real paçzki sourced from Hamtramck, Mich. DCD is celebrating PDV’s return with a Paçzki Day Party on Feb. 14 ahead of Paçzki Day on Feb. 17. PDV is an annual tradition made with no artificial flavors and honors Detroit’s Polish heritage, the company says.
The original offering of PDV is raspberry, but DCD also is offering Orange Cream PDV this year as well. Also joining the lineup is Home Town Poland x Detroit Vodka, an all-new, Michigan-made blended vodka crafted with Michigan and Polish potato vodka.
PDV is made by distilling paçzki in a blend of 100% Michigan and Polish potato vodka using a 500-gallon copper pot still. PDV is a crystal-clear, one-of-a-kind spirit that is “smooth, buttery and finishes with unmistakable paçzki character,” it adds. Crafted to highlight the authentic taste of handmade, glazed raspberry paçzki from Hamtramck, PDV is free of artificial ingredients, flavors and sweeteners.
The Paçzki Day Party will take place at DCD’s new 100 Proof event space, taking place both indoors and outdoors. The party will feature live music, ice carving, shotski and appearances by Mr. Paçzki Head.
