With the first Readers’ Choice: New Product of the Month in the books for 2018, it looks as though readers of Beverage Industry still have health and wellness on their minds. For the January poll, the Top 3 vote-getters tap into healthy hydration trends.

Receiving 26 percent of the vote, the new flavors from trimino was the top vote-getter for the January poll. With the addition of Citrus, Orchard and Raspberry Limeade, the new flavors are a natural extension of the brand and maintain the flavor, texture and finish of the protein-infused water’s original flavors, the company says.

Capitalizing on the growing interest in sparkling water, Waterloo Sparkling Water finished with 14 percent of the vote. Available nationwide at Whole Foods Market, Waterloo Sparkling water is offered in seven flavors: Original, Black Cherry, Watermelon, Coconut, Lemon, Lime and Grapefruit. 

Rounding out the Top 3 was Flow Alkaline Spring Water’s Cucumber + Mint, and Lemon + Ginger, which received 13 percent of the vote. The new additions to the spring water line feature organic flavors.
