Northern California's farm-to-barrel craft beer pioneers Almanac Beer Co. released its Holiday Advent Beer Box, which features 12 16-ounce cans of beer, spanning a wide range of innovative craft beer styles.

Boston-based Drizly released its third annual BevAlc Insights by Drizly Retail Report, culled from a nationwide survey of more than 500 alcohol retailers during November 2021. Among standout findings, retailers expected higher sales during the holiday season despite reports of Champagne shortages, felt concerned about supply chain issues yet still optimistic about 2022, are poised to stock (yet) more tequila, have fresh interest in craft beer, and see big potential for cannabis-infused products.

Halyard Brewing Co. released a spicy new brew dubbed “The OQ,” short for the Octopus Queen. An extra spicy hard ginger beer, the Octopus Queen is brewed with Madagascar vanilla, Ceylon cinnamon, fresh ginger, and other aromatic spices, the company says.

Harpoon Brewery and UFO Beer Co., both operating units of Mass Bay Brewing Co., released seasonal mix-packs: Harpoon’s Wintry Mix and UFO’s Northern Lights.

Molson Coors Beverage Co., Chicago, is giving Topo Chico Hard Seltzer drinkers something new to look forward to this holiday season with the launch of Topo Chico Hard Seltzer glass bottles. Topo Chico Hard Seltzer's most popular flavor, Strawberry Guava, is on shelves in 12-ounce glass bottles in select markets across the country.

San Diego-based Stone Brewing introduced a celebration of IPAs for the holiday season. This pack features 12 individual beers, including new recipes, year-round staples, and archived fan-favorites.

Small Brewery Sunday, the national beer holiday created by the Boulder, Colo.-based Brewers Association (BA), returns for its third year on Nov. 28. The annual celebration encourages beer lovers to support their local breweries, brewpubs, and taprooms — small businesses that contribute to local communities and economies during the holiday season and beyond.
