Coors Light announced it will eliminate plastic rings from packaging globally, where Molson Coors owns brewing operations. To support the move to more sustainable packaging, Molson Coors Beverage Co., Chicago, will invest $85 million, enabling Coors Light to begin the transition to fully recyclable and sustainably sourced cardboard-wrap carriers later this year.

The Boston Beer Co., Boston, announced the launch of HARD MTN DEW, a new alcohol beverage featuring four bold flavors, including original MTN DEW, Baja Blast, Black Cherry and Watermelon. With no caffeine, zero added sugar and 100 calories in each serving, HARD MTN DEW features a 5% ABV. 

New Realm Brewing re-released its Hazy Like an Ox Double IPA and Lime of the Party Gose beers. Containing a bullish amount of Azacca, El Dorado and Idaho 7 Hops, Hazy Like an Ox is a juicy hazy double IPA featuring aromatic blends of orange, lemon and pineapple hop notes, the company says.

Dogfish Head’s Spring Variety Pack contains an assortment of four off-centered ales, including 60 Minute IPA, SeaQuench Ale and Namaste. It also highlights the limited-time return of Festina Pêche as a variety pack exclusive. 

Deschutes Brewery launched a non-alcoholic version of its legacy porter, Black Butte. Black Butte Non-Alcoholic is a high-quality non-alcohol beer that rivals the experience of a full-strength craft beer, the company says.
