Leinenkugel Classic Amber

The Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Co. released Leinenkugel’s Classic Amber, a malted lager. Classic Amber is a blend of two-row and six-row malts and four varieties of hops. The product contains 4.9 percent alcohol by volume and is available in bottles in six- and 12-packs and on draft. Classic Amber retails for $6.99 to $7.99 for a six-pack.

Raw Foods International Inc. released Raw, a line of unpasteurized, preservative-free vegetable and fruit juices. When a beverage is pasteurized, many of the nutrients are killed, the company says. Raw uses ingredients that have a medicinal value to the body, such as cucumber, which cools the body down, it says. Raw is available in Cucumber Pineapple Juice, Cranberry Ginger, Carrot Lemonade, Tropical Medley and Beetroot Magic flavors. A 16-ounce bottle retails for $3.89.

The Gatorade Co., a division of PepsiCo, reformulated its Gatorade Tiger Focus. The product includes theanine, which when combined with carbohydrates and hydration, helps promote mental focus, the company says. Gatorade Tiger Focus also provides vitamin E, and has half the calories and 25 percent more electrolytes than Gatorade Thirst Quencher. Gatorade Tiger Focus will be available at grocery stores in a 32-ounce bottle and 16.9-ounce eight-packs, and at convenience stores in a 32-ounce and 16.9-ounce bottles.

Monster Hitman

Monster Beverage Co. released Monster Hitman Energy Shooter. The 3-ounce energy shot provides consumers a 5,000-mg. energy blend, including glucose, L-carnitine, caffeine, inositol, guarana, glucuronolactone and maltodextrin. No more than one bottle should be consumed every four hours, the company says. Monster Hitman Energy Shooter features the iconic ‘M’ in front of a circular target on the bottle. Each 3-ounce shot retails for $2.99.

The Coca-Cola Co. unveiled Sprite Green, a reduced-calorie beverage made with Truvia, Coca-Cola’s stevia-based natural sweetener. Sprite Green contains 50 calories per 8.5-ounce serving and 5 percent lemon juice. The beverage was created to appeal to active young adults, the company says.

Dry soda flavors

Dry Soda Co. released two new flavors for the first time since 2005. The flavors are Juniper Berry and Vanilla Bean, and the sodas join the company’s Kumquat, Lavender, Lemongrass and Rhubarb flavors. Vanilla Bean Dry contains 60 calories and is aromatic and lightly sweet; and Juniper Berry Dry carries 50 calories and is accentuated with a pine essence, the company says. The products also are made with fruit or herb extracts and sweetened with 14 to 19 grams of cane sugar. The sodas are packaged in 12-ounce single-serve bottles and four-packs, which retail for $1.69 and $5.99, respectively. Twelve-bottle shippers also are available online.

Family-sized white tea

Inko’s LLC launched a new size for its RTD iced white tea line. Flavors including White Peach, Blueberry and Unsweetened Mint now are available in 64-ounce multiserve containers. Inko’s brews contain 28 calories per serving and its Unsweetened Mint flavor has zero calories. In addition, the teas are made with less than 3 mgs. of caffeine per serving. Inko’s 64-ounce family-sized White Teas are packed eight to a case and join the company’s line of nine 16-ounce RTD iced white teas and Inko’s White Tea Energy drink. The 64-ounce containers retail for $3.99 each.

Leinenkugel's 1888 Bock

The Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Co. released Leinenkugel’s 1888 Bock, which is based on the Leinenkugel family’s original bock recipe, and was brewed using a 20- to 25-day cold lagering process that gives it a smooth toasted malt flavor. The product contains 5.1 percent alcohol by volume and is sold in six-, 12- and 24-packs and on draft. The six-pack retails for $6.49 to $7.99, and will be available until March.
