As people tend to indulge on food and beverage options around the holidays, January tends to be a time where better-for-you solutions shine. This trend holds true for Beverage Industry’s Readers’ Choice: New Product of the Month poll.

As the final wrap-up of 2019, the readers of Beverage Industry voted on their favorite new product. Compiled from the monthly winners of the Readers’ Choice: New Product of the Month poll, the voting took place Jan. 21 through Feb. 3.

December always is a busy time of year, but that didn’t stop innovators in the beverage market from releasing the latest crop of new products. In Beverage Industry’s Readers’ Choice: New Product of the Month poll for December, Hercules Mulligan Rum + Rye closed out the monthly poll by garnering 30 percent of the votes.

The year might be coming to a close soon, but that doesn’t mean the innovations in the beverage market have slowed down. Across all sectors of the alcohol and non-alcohol beverage market, brand owners continue to develop products that bring joy to consumers’ lives.

The readers of Beverage Industry know a champion when they see one. For the Readers’ Choice: New Product of the Month Poll for October, the monthly champion in no stranger to a winning playbook.

In the Readers’ Choice: New Product of the Month poll for September, Sunshine Sparkling Energy Water won the monthly poll with 31 percent of the vote. 

Rosé wine is among of the most popular beverage trends in the U.S. market at this time, so it’s no wonder that the readers of Beverage Industry felt the need to give accolades to the latest brand to hit the market.

Similar to last month’s poll, readers continue to show interest in cannabis beverages. In the Readers’ Choice: New Product poll for July, Beverage Industry readers selected YOLO Shots: CBD-Infused Caffeine Shots as their favorite new product release.
