Samuel Adams, a brand of Boston-based The Boston Beer Co., has been named the “official beer of the Boston Red Sox.” Samuel Adams and the Red Sox have entered into a multi-year partnership, which will bring together two beloved Boston icons, the companies say. The deal will start to take effect in January 2018.
The two-year-old taproom in Sterling, Va., brewed 1,500 barrels of beer in 2016, but you’d never know it by looking at their brewing kettles — they look brand new.
Craft Beverage Expo (CBExpo), the conference for independent producers, announced that industry and marketing experts Christian McMahan and Tom Flanagan will lead the event’s keynote sessions. The CBExpo will take Nov. 7-9 in Portland, Ore.
