New Holland Brewing Co. Founder and President Brett VanderKamp and Pabst Brewing Co. (PBC) Chairman Eugene Kashper announced that the two companies will enter into a long-term partnership agreement, effective first quarter 2017. The partnership will focus on the national distribution and sales of the Holland, Mich.-based craft brewer’s full portfolio of beers.

Los Angeles-based Pabst Brewing Co., announced that it has named Simon Thorpe Chief Executive Officer, effective December 1. Eugene Kashper, current chairman and chief executive officer, will remain full-time Chairman of the Board and continue to play an active role in the business. There will be a 60-day transition period between Kashper and Thorpe to ensure a smooth handover, the company says.
Not Your Father’s Taproom IPA, Cherry Ale available in Oregon, Washington

Wauconda, Ill.-based Small Town Brewery announced that it will launch a new line of classically brewed beers, Not Your Father’s Taproom IPA and Not Your Father’s Taproom Cherry Ale. These limited-edition beers initially will be available in Oregon and Washington.
Dogfish Head Craft Brewery unveiled a new packaging design that brings focus to the creativity, high quality and often rare ingredients that go into its portfolio of beers, it says. The project was a collaboration between Dogfish’s in-house creative team and packaging design firm Interact Boulder.
For about a decade, the craft beer segment has grown at immense rates, influencing the food and beverage industries in many ways. Yet, experts note that the segment is beginning to experience some growing pains as a result of its rapid growth.
