Mountain Dew and Trolli announced they are tapping into fan demand for fruit-forward heat and tropical-meets-spicy flavors with a new, limited-edition beverage: Mountain Dew x Trolli Mango Pineapple Punch.

Mountain Dew x Trolli Mango Pineapple Punch is bursting with mango, pineapple, and a hint of strawberry flavors, the company says. Paired with Trolli Spicy Crawlers, the two create a blend of spicy and sweet elements in every chewy bite and sip, it adds.

“Last year’s Mountain Dew and Trolli collaboration showed just how much excitement there is when two iconic brands come together in an unexpected way,” said Michael Smith, vice president of marketing for Mountain Dew at PepsiCo Beverages U.S., in a statement. “This year, we’re taking that idea even further with a sweet-and-spicy flavor twist that taps into a growing consumer trend while delivering the bold, one-of-a-kind experience fans expect from both brands.”

The new offering builds on the success of Mountain Dew x Trolli Cherry Lemon, which debuted last year to the delight of sweet-and-sour fans and quickly became one of the fastest-selling products in the Mountain Dew lineup.

“Trolli is all about pushing the boundaries of what a sour gummi candy can be, so what better way to show consumers more ways to enjoy Trolli Spicy Crawlers than by pairing it with the bold, new fruit-forward Mountain Dew soda,” said Chad Womack, marketing director at Trolli. “This collaboration lets fans savor our chewy gummi candy in a refreshing, yet sweet and spicy experience.”

Mountain Dew x Trolli Mango Pineapple Punch packs of 12-ounce cans and 20-ounce bottles are available at U.S. retailers and Regular 20-ounce bottles at participating Pizza Hut locations nationwide through October.

To celebrate the launch, consumers can snag limited-edition Mountain Dew x Trolli kits, available exclusively on Walmart.com beginning Aug. 24. Each kit includes a 20-ounce Mountain Dew x Trolli Mango Pineapple Punch, a 20-ounce Mountain Dew x Trolli Mango Pineapple Punch Zero Sugar and a 12-ounce bag of Trolli Spicy Crawlers, bringing the full pairing experience together in one package, while supplies last.
