Trysk introduces organic torn-edge label finish

Trysk Print Solutions launched TryskEdge, an exclusive new label finishing technique that delivers a live, naturally torn edge to pressure-sensitive labels. The process introduces a raw, organic texture never before available at scale, the company says. Each label features a one-of-a-kind edge detail, bringing handcrafted character and elevated shelf presence to premium packaging. TryskEdge offers brands and designers a new creative tool to express authenticity and texture, which the company says is ideal for highlighting artisanal craftsmanship and small-lot production. The torn-edge finish adds both dimensionality and visual intrigue, making it well-suited for wine, spirits and specialty food packaging, the company says. “TryskEdge gives designers and brand teams a new way to add tactile, authentic character to their packaging,” Stephan Martinez, founder and CEO of Trysk Print Solutions, said in a statement. “This isn’t an effect created with a special die cut. It’s a true, torn edge that introduces organic variation and texture. No two labels are exactly the same, which makes each one feel intentional and handcrafted.”
