POWERADE unveils POWER WATER
New water 1st innovation in 5-plus years from brand

POWERADE, a brand of the Coca-Cola Co., Atlanta, announced the launch of POWERADE POWER WATER, marking the brand’s first product innovation in over five years.
A new electrolyte-enhanced, zero sugar flavored water designed to redefine hydration for today’s active lifestyles, POWERADE POWER WATER is made with 50% more electrolytes versus the leading electrolyte water beverage, according to the company. POWERADE POWER WATER is formulated as the go-to option for fitness and everyday hydration, it says.
Launching in four flavors — Mountain Berry Blast, Strawberry Kiwi, Tropical Pineapple and Watermelon — the new lineup delivers a crisp, refreshing taste, the company says.
“For decades, the enhanced water category has seen minimal competition and innovation – POWER WATER changes that,” said Sabrina Niland, vice president of innovation and strategy and chief of staff at BODYARMOR Sports Nutrition, in a statement. “With 50% more electrolytes than the leading electrolyte water, zero sugar, and a great-tasting formula, we’re ready to set a new standard for what consumers should expect from functional water.”
POWER WATER comes in 20-ounce single bottles and 16.9-ounce, six-pack offerings wrapped in a sleek label designed to stand out on shelves, the company notes. For consumers seeking more than plain water, it delivers enhanced taste and functional hydration in one — providing a alternative for powering through a workout, grinding at work, or tackling the everyday hustle, it says.
Launching in retail stores regionally this October, POWERADE POWER WATER will be available in-stores nationwide and online via Amazon in 2026. To support this launch, POWERADE will roll out a fully integrated marketing campaign spanning social media, digital, retail activations, OOH, and sampling events in key markets aimed at driving trial and awareness, it says.
The brand also will fuel momentum into 2026 with high-impact partnerships and influencer-led storytelling, including collaborations with leading voices in fitness, it notes. The debut of POWER WATER builds on a banner year for POWERADE as the brand continues to drive market share and increased sales within a crowded sports hydration category, the company says.
