POWERADE, a brand of The Coca-Cola Co., is expanding its product platforms for the first time in more than a decade with two new zero-sugar innovations that offer functional hydration solutions: POWERADE ULTRA and POWERADE POWER WATER. Available in Mixed Berry, White Cherry and Citrus Blast, POWERADE ULTRA includes creatine, branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs); vitamins B3, B6 and B12; and more than 50 percent more ION4 electrolytes compared with original POWERADE. POWERADE POWER WATER, to be released in February, contains ION4 electrolytes and vitamins B3, B6 and B12. It will be offered in three flavors: Berry Cherry, Tropical Mango and Cucumber Lime. The beverages will be available in six-unit multi-packs of 16.9-ounce flat-cap bottles and individual 20-ounce sport cap bottles.
