2 Towns Ciderhouse recently unveiled a new hard cider: Piña Fuego.

The cider — a chipotle pineapple cider — is the latest from the cidery’s 2023 Limited Release line. It’s crafted with fresh-pressed Northwest apples, smoked chipotle peppers and sweet, ripe pineapple, achieving a tropical and smoky taste that the company says is “reminiscent of a desert dream.”

“Piña Fuego is the perfect pairing for your tropical BBQ,” said Dave Takush, head cider maker, in a statement. “It strikes a beautiful balance of sweet and smoky flavors with the ripe pineapple and chipotle peppers — makes you want to grab a horse and ride bareback into the sunset.”

With an alcohol-by-volume (ABV) content of 8%, the company describes the hard cider’s profile as “deep earthy chili balanced by ripe sweet fruit,” with “a nice kick of heat at the end.” It’s essentially “grilled pineapple in a bottle.”

Piña Fuego will be available through its distributors in Oregon, Washington, California, Arizona, Colorado, Montana and Idaho.
