Angry Orchard, a brand of The Boston Beer Co., Boston, is kicking off Halloween with a new treat this year, inspired by nostalgic memories of trick-or-treating. Paying homage to the houses that hand out King Size candy bars on Halloween, Angry Orchard is releasing a King Size bottle ― clocking in at 6 liters of hard cider.

Barrell Craft Spirits (BCS), Louisville, Ky., unveiled its new state of the art blending facility in Jeffersontown, Ky., during a private ribbon cutting ceremony.

DoorDash, San Franciso, and ALDI, Batavia, Ill., expanded their partnership, announcing that consumers can now order on-demand alcohol delivery from more than 1,200 ALDI locations across 21 states on DoorDash. With the addition of ALDI, nearly 80% of DoorDash consumers now can access alcohol through safe, age-verified delivery.

New York-based Kung Fu Tea (KFT) and Spirit Halloween, Egg Harbor Township, N.J., are joining forces to serve up new treats this Halloween season. The collaboration includes five exclusive costumes and a new, limited-time beverage inspired by all things Spirit, so consumers can fuel up and go code orange all October with a beverage that isn't just pumpkin spice, the companies say.

Bacardi Limited, Hamilton, Bermuda, announced the completion of a transaction that makes the family-owned company the sole owner of ILEGAL Mezcal, a leading super premium artisanal mezcal. ILEGAL Mezcal is available in Joven, a full-bodied agave flavor with a light smoke; Reposado, aged six months in medium-charred American oak; and Añejo, aged to taste for 13 months using a combination of new and used American oak, medium char barrels. 

As summer comes to a close, Bell’s Brewery, Kalamazoo, Mich., announced a new beer for consumers to enjoy during the Oberon offseason: Oberon Eclipse. At 6.3% ABV, the new brew will be available starting in October through March 2024.

Gopuff, Philadelphia, and Juvee, an energy drink created by Sam Keene and Matt “Nadeshot” Haag, founder of 100 Thieves, a premier gaming organization and lifestyle brand, announced the launch of their co-branded flavor, Peachy Mangopuff. 

Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling revealed plans for a substantial expansion of its operations at its current facility in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. With plans to invest $500 million to transform the facility, Rancho Cucamonga is set to become only the fourth location where Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling manufactures in California.

Gatorade, a brand of PepsiCo, Purchase, N.Y., announced it will enter the bottled water category with the introduction of Gatorade Water, the brands’ first unflavored water, set to hit shelves in Q1 2024. An electrolyte-infused water with a crisp taste, Gatorade Water was developed to help support all-day hydration for active people, the company says. The premium water offering is purified with a seven-step, enhanced filtration process, while also being alkaline. 

Through this partnership with BHC, Gypsy Spirits was able to produce enough product to release the new Apple Pie Vodka statewide.
