Long Island City, N.Y.-based Hella Cocktail Co., a brand of botanically inspired mixers and cocktails, announced a $5 million investment from a fellow BIPOC-owned company, Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey, Shelbyville, Tenn.

Cool Cat, a line of low-calorie wine spritzer cocktails, introduced limited-edition PRIDE-theme packaging to commemorate June as National LGBTQ+ PRIDE Month. The rainbow-themed four-packs of 12-ounce cans are available for purchase in select on- and off-premise accounts in New York, California, Florida, Connecticut and online at drinkcoolcat.com.

CUCIELO Vermouth, a brand of Artisan Spirits Ltd., expanded its collection with the launch of a Dry Vermouth di Torino, which is crafted to capture the essence of “Golden Hour” and Italian Aperitivo Culture, it says. 

Miami and Los Angeles-based Fun Wine announced that Christina Aguilera joined the team as Chief Culture Officer. Working alongside the company’s Founder and CEO, Joe Peleg, Aguilera also will help Fun Wine continue its global expansion across Europe and Asia, it says.

Melograno Cocktails announced its entering the canned cocktail market. Founders ― Reza and Shiva Mortazavi, a husband and wife team ― were inspired and influenced by the current trending industry to create a product they have yet to see, one that is designed with flavors that celebrate cultures from around the world, the company says.

“Mr. Robot” and “Bohemian Rhapsody” actor Rami Malek has partnered with Absolut, a brand of Pernod Ricard USA, New York, in what is set to be their biggest ongoing campaign yet. The campaign, called The World of Absolut Cocktails, will launch this summer with an introduction from Malek. The multi-year project is designed to inspire people who are open-minded, optimistic, and driven by curiosity … to come together to mix ideas and, of course, drinks, the company says.

The vodka is set to hit shelves mid-August, with 100% of proceeds going towards Ukrainian relief efforts. The distillery is donating all proceeds from the vodka to Razom, an organization providing relief and recovery to the Ukrainian people.
