Grab&Go probiotic drinks available in three varieties

Boulder, Colo.-based NextFoods’ GoodBelly releasedits new Grab&Go probiotic drinks. GoodBelly’s new 15.2-ounce beverages tout the same probiotic strain used in the brand’s existing lineup, Lactobacillus plantarum 299v (LP299V), it says.
The movement to become closer to one’s food source and consumers craving more healthful food and beverage options have buoyed the growth of the $53.5 billion natural and organic business, according to Rockville, Md.-based Packaged Fact’s July 2014 report titled “Natural and Organic Foods and Beverages in the U.S., 4th Edition.”

$20 million investment equates to 11.7 percent ownership stake for DPS

Plano, Texas-based Dr Pepper Snapple Group Inc. (DPS) has reached an agreement to make an equity investment in BA Sports Nutrition LLC, owner of BodyArmor SuperDrink, a line of premium sports drinks. The $20 million investment gives DPS an 11.7 percent ownership position in BA Sports Nutrition.
