Synergy Flavors formally opened its new headquarters in Wauconda, Ill., on Oct. 4. President and Chief Executive Officer Roderick W. Sowders, who officiated at the opening ceremony, explained that the company’s investment in the facility was needed to support its customers and continued growth.

At the 10th anniversary of its Innovation Roadshow, team members of Philadelphia-based David Michael & Co. took the company’s flavor innovations on the road to share with clients, educational institutions and media across the country.
Although summer has come to a close, some consumers might want to grab ahold of the last drops of the season by indulging in the exotic, tropical flavors of the warmer climates. While flavors like pineapple, mango, passion fruit, coconut and lemon, among others, offer consumers a tropical escape, they also offer some nutritional benefits for their bodies.
Healthy and natural attributes top the list of consumer needs and interests for beverages, according to respondents of Beverage Industry’s annual New Product Development Survey.
