National Coffee Association releases spring 2022 National Coffee Data Trends report

Coffee consumption has soared to a two-decade high as Americans brew up new post-COVID routines, according to exclusive consumer polling released by the National Coffee Association (NCA). The polling found that 66% of Americans now drink coffee each day, more than any other beverage including tap water and up by nearly 14% since January 2021, the largest increase since NCA began tracking data, it says.
Experts note the pandemic likely contributed to at-home coffee consumption, making single-serve the largest segment of the category. However, growth driven by convenience and consumers’ premium preferences also drove notable growth in the RTD category.

Co., Northlake, Texas, announced a strategic partnership under which Farmer Brothers will provide access to manufacturing capacity as NuZee continues to roll out new coffee and tea products in the United States. Under the agreement, NuZee may place up to 50 co-packing machines in Farmer Brothers' 500,000-square-foot, SQF-certified, zero waste facility in Northlake, Texas.
