Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated, Charlotte, N.C., announced that it has signed a definitive agreement with Atlanta-based The Coca-Cola Co. to exchange its franchise territory in Jackson, Tenn., for territory currently served by Coca-Cola Refreshments USA Inc. (CCR), a wholly owned subsidiary of The Coca-Cola Co., in Lexington, Ky.

Since 1982, consumers have been turning to Diet Coke because they love its taste, according to The Coca-Cola Co., Atlanta. To expand on this, the brand is launching a new campaign to show fans what life would be like if it tasted as good as Diet Coke.
As soon as The Coca-Cola Co. announced the launch of its “Share a Coke” campaign in the United States this summer, I immediately began my quest to find a bottle with my name on it.
