Liquid I.V. swings into summer with ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ partnership

Brand launches limited-edition flavors with co-branded packaging

Liquid I.V. has teamed up with Sony Pictures’ “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” serving as the exclusive functional hydration partner and bringing hydration to Hollywood.

By turning ordinary water into extraordinary hydration, Liquid I.V. mimics Peter Parker’s journey in “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” as Spider-Man navigates a new chapter in his life, the company says.

The partnership includes co-branded products and an upcoming fan experience, with details on the fan experience to be announced. The collaboration is built to show up wherever the action unfolds, the brand says. The collab kicks off June 1 with the introduction of limited-edition Liquid I.V. x “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” co-branded products in two flavors: Hydration Multiplier Arctic Raspberry and Hydration Multiplier Sugar-Free Raspberry Lemonade.

Arctic Raspberry features a sweet, juicy raspberry flavor with sugary frosting notes, it says. It is infused with spirulina to give it a bold, blue hue. Meanwhile, Sugar-Free Raspberry Lemonade is a blend of tart lemon and ripe raspberry.

“With ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day,’ we saw an opportunity to connect with one of the most iconic heroes of all time in a way that feels both culturally relevant and deeply human,” said Aaron Jones, chief media officer for Liquid I.V., in a statement. “At its core, Spider-Man is about rising to meet the moment, and that’s exactly what our brand stands for. Through this collaboration, we’re showing how our science-backed hydration can help everyday people stay ready, push further and show up as their best in the moments that matter most.”

Inspired by Spider-Man’s iconic red and blue suit, the limited-edition, co-branded packaging flavors are built for those ready to swing into summer, Liquid I.V. adds. The offerings are available on Liquid I.V.’s website, Amazon and at select retailers nationwide, such as Target, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Publix, Kroger and Meijer.
