Glenfiddich, The Balvenie release trial sizes

For the first time, Glenfiddich introduced a trial-size edition of its 14 Year Old Bourbon Barrel Reserve.
Crafted by Malt Master Brian Kinsman, this award-winning expression celebrates the shared history of American and Scotch whisky, maturing in American Oak ex-bourbon barrels for a rich, layered flavor profile.
The bourbon features notes of creamy toffee, candied orange peel, woody spices and fresh toasted oak, the company says. The Glenfiddich 14 Year Old Bourbon Barrel Reserve is bottled at 43% ABV and priced at $25.
Additionally, The Balvenie will offer a limited-edition 200-ml bottle of its 14 Year Old Caribbean Cask, marking the first time this expression is available in a trial size.
Finished in casks that previously held Caribbean rum, this whisky delivers the signature smooth, honeyed character of The Balvenie enhanced with notes of toffee, fruit, and a warm, lingering finish, it says. The Balvenie 14 Year Old Caribbean Cask is bottled at 43% ABV and offered at $25.
