Retro Diet Coke Lime returns this fall
Limited-edition launch taps into nostalgia

This fall, Diet Coke, a brand of The Coca-Cola Co., is bringing back one of its most beloved flavors, Retro Diet Coke Lime, returning to shelves nationwide Oct. 6.
Known for its crisp refreshment with a zesty lime twist, Diet Coke Lime was a breakout favorite when it first launched and is now set to deliver the same bold flavor in a whole new cultural moment, the company says.
What makes this return special is that it’s not just about taste; it’s about tapping into the nostalgia wave that’s dominating everything from fashion to film, according to the company. Retro Diet Coke Lime is wrapped in retro-inspired, neon lime packaging that nods to the past while looking fresh on today’s shelves. Collectible in its own right, it’s designed to spark excitement among longtime loyalists while introducing younger shoppers to the carbonated soft drink.
The launch is for a limited time only and is available in 12-pack cans and single 20-ounce bottles nationwide while supplies last.
Noting that consumer demand for nostalgic favorites has never been stronger, the company shares Diet Coke is listening. The success of Retro Diet Cherry Coke, which launched for a limited time earlier this year, proved just how much appetite there is for throwback flavors that connect people to cultural moments and personal memories, it adds.
