The Coca-Cola Co. announced that it is expanding its Diet Coke brand with the addition of four new flavors. With a goal to offer consumers bolder and more dynamic taste experiences, the company is introducing Diet Coke Ginger Lime, Diet Coke Feisty Cherry, Diet Coke Zesty Blood Orange and Diet Coke Twisted Mango, it says. As part of the innovation process, Diet Coke spoke with more than 10,000 consumers from across the country to get ideas and input. Based on the insights from these consumers, the research-and-development team explored more than 30 tropical, citrus and botanical options before selecting the four that are being introduced, the company says. The new Diet Coke flavors will roll out in sleek, 12-ounce cans that will be available as singles and in eight-packs nationwide.
