Southside Beverage Holdings announced the launch of The Original Southside, a refreshing blend of premium gin, lemon and mint, in a convenient ready-to-drink (RTD) format.

The Original Southside captures the spirit of the Roaring ‘20s and reimagines it for a new generation of cocktail enthusiasts who appreciate sophistication, the company says.

Inspired by her mother’s homemade summer cocktail, affectionately called “Leah’s Summer Cooler,” Meredith Mills-Merritt, founder of Southside Beverage Holdings, set out to create a cocktail that encapsulates the essence of summer in every sip while paying homage to both the Southside recipes from the 1920s and her mother’s original recipe, the company notes.

“We’re reviving a drink that was lost over time, for a ‘revival of the fittest,’ so to speak.
