iPourIt earns Series B funding to advance next-generation technology

Self-pour system designed for sampling beers, wines

iPourIt
January 7, 2021

iPourIt Inc., a provider of self-pour beer and wine systems, received new Series B funding from Tech  Coast Angels Orange County to advance the development of the company's next-generation technology and help enhance product management, quality testing and customer support services. The beverage dispensing technology uses RFID-activated screens and taps that allow users to pour on their own and serve as little or as much as they please, sampling beers, seltzers, wines and more, the company says.  The system's SMARTS technology tracks the volume of each pour to provide the operator with real-time inventory data for every product. Self-pour offers a fun alternative to the traditional taproom experience and enables proper social distancing, reduces wait time, and eliminates touch points between staff and customers. Operators also see benefits like increased revenue, higher product yield and lower labor costs, it adds. iPourIt  systems are currently operating in casual and fast-casual dining, taproom, event venue, corporate office, urban living and grocery locations.
