Inginias LLC has released Cafello, a premium sparkling espresso soda. The bitter and sour notes and no lingering aftertaste were accomplished solely through the complex formulation of the different types of coffees and extraction methods, the company says. Cafello’s makers control the pasteurization so the flavor and aroma aren’t impacted and there is no lingering aftertaste, it adds. The beverage contains triple-filtered sparkling water, cane sugar, natural coffee flavors, organic caffeine, organic cold-brewed espresso coffee and no preservatives. It is available in 12-ounce glass bottles for a suggested retail price of $2.49 a bottle.
