San Diego-based Villager Goods launched Little Villager, a low-sugar and flavorful organic beverage for kids. Co-founded by active and health-conscious parents Josh Landan and Jeff Hansson, Villager Goods is also owned in partnership with a team of professional surf, skateboard, and snowboard athlete investor-ambassadors.

The no-sugar-added beverage offerings, launching this month at nearly 300 Target locations nationwide and on Target.com, contain 40 percent juice, and are available in three kid-favorite flavors: Apple Juice, Pink Lemonade and Fruit Punch, the company says.

Conveying the same California lifestyle as its parent company, Little Villager is backed by top performing athletes like pro-skater Paul Rodriguez and pro-surfer Alana Blanchard. Landan and Hansson hope to inspire active, healthy lifestyles from a young age, leveraging its community — or "village" — of athletes and influencers to spark a movement that will positively impact millennial families everywhere, the company says.

"The Villager Goods team and I could not be more excited about the launch of Little Villager," said Landan, Villager Goods Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, in a statement. "As parents, Jeff and I believe strongly in delivering healthy and organic products for families, and there just isn't much available at an affordable price point. We're excited to fill that gap in the marketplace with Little Villager, and to leverage our community of athletes and influencers to inspire active and healthy lifestyles for kids nationwide."
