RETHINK Brands secures $6.7 million investment
Beverage company to expand distribution
RETHINK Brands, Columbia, Md., announced it received a $6.7 million investment from funding efforts led by New York-based AccelFoods, LLC, to expand its RETHINK Kids Water beverage line. Capital from this round of investors will support RETHINK’s accelerated growth and continued distribution across the U.S., as well as fund new product launches in the upcoming year, the company says.
RETHINK Brands distributes nationwide in more than 11,000 stores, including retailers like Walmart, Target and Kroger, it says. The water is a zero-calorie, zero-sodium and zero-sugar, organic children’s beverage that is available in four flavors: Apple, Berry, Fruit Punch and Orange Mango, it adds.
“This funding marks a pivotal moment for RETHINK,” said Matt Swanson, co-founder of RETHINK Brands, in a statement. “We always knew we were on the right side of health trends and consumer priorities. By addressing the needs of children, we are able to make a real difference."
