With Drinkfinity, people can "Peel, Pop and Shake" to combine the dry and liquid ingredients contained in portable pods with water in a specially designed, reusable, BPA-free vessel, and create beverage blends in a variety of flavors, the company says.
Nestlé Pure Life Purified Water, a brand of Nestlé Waters North America, announced the introduction of a 700-ml bottle made from 100 percent food grade recycled plastic (rPET), excluding its label and cap, which are recyclable but not made from rPET. The new package is available starting this month on retail store shelves in North America, the company says.
Mississauga, Canada-based Cott Corp. announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement pursuant to which Cott will acquire Crystal Rock Holdings Inc., Watertown, Conn., for $0.97 per share in cash. The transaction, which values Crystal Rock at approximately $35 million, was unanimously approved by both the Cott and Crystal Rock Boards of Directors, the companies say.
