Company sets goal to collect, recycle one container for every one sold

Atlanta-based The Coca-Cola Co. announced that it is fundamentally reshaping its approach to packaging, with a global goal to help collect and recycle the equivalent of 100 percent of its packaging by 2030.
CytoSport Inc., maker of Muscle Milk, is featuring seven college athletic programs on custom, limited-edition 14-ounce bottles to celebrate college football season. Partner programs include the Alabama Crimson Tide, Arizona State Sun Devils, Oregon Ducks, Syracuse Orange, Tennessee Volunteers, Texas A&M Aggies and the Texas Longhorns.
bottlePORT to release reusable bottles with dispensable caps

bottlePORT, Inc. aims to give mindful beverage drinkers convenience and value by introducing eco-friendly, natural ingredients line “bottlePORT.” In an agreement with NYSW Beverage Brands Inc. to be the exclusive “bottler,” the new company will redefine the dosing cap segment by using this technology to create a reusable bottle system that delivers several drinks per one bottle, the company says.

PlantBottle packaging pushes the boundaries on sustainable innovation by using groundbreaking technology to create a fully recyclable plastic bottle made from renewable plant materials, the company says.
The Coca-Cola Co. is expanding its Simply juice brand into a new beverage segment. Simply Juice Drinks are a premium line of all-natural, not-from-concentrate beverages.
Batman has Robin, Andy Taylor has Barney Fife, Han Solo has Chewbacca, and Pinocchio has Jiminy Cricket. While sidekicks might be the background character in all of these famous duos, secondary packaging has more of a spotlight position in its role as primary packaging’s sidekick.
