When a customer needed to upgrade its existing bottling processing line to merge two lanes of craft beers or wine bottles into a single lane, Dorner’s Engineered Solutions Group (ESG) designed a custom solution with the ability to inject automation and ingenuity into the conveyor systems of small-scale breweries and wineries, it says.
What sets the drum motor apart from a conventional conveyor drive is that the drum motor has all the drive components, such as the electric motor, gear reducer and all bearings, housed inside the drum.
The Regina Chain’s e-F.A.S.T. material benefits conveyors used in high-speed, dry-running bottling operations because it eliminates the need for traditional external lubricants and other filling operations, the company says.
