Blake's Hard Cider celebrates America's 250th anniversary with adventure giveaway
Limited-edition packaging, sweepstakes toast to nation's semi-quincentennial

Ahead of the nation’s 250th anniversary, Blake’s Hard Cider (BHC), a brand of Blake’s Beverage Co. (BBC), is celebrating with an adventure sweepstakes and limited-edition packaging.
The Armada, Mich.-based cidery is releasing limited-edition packaging for American Apple, its flagship imperial hard cider. The packaging is a tribute to the farmers, families and communities that built this country, BHC says.
“As an independent, family-owned cidery, we believe in an independent nation deserves a cider that stays true to its roots,” said Andrew Blake, founder and CEO of BBC, in a statement. “American Apple is more than a drink — it’s a tribute to the farmers and families who built this country, and to the communities that still carry that spirit forward. We wanted this milestone anniversary to be reflected in every can, celebrating the people and places that make this country a home.”
In addition to the patriotic packaging, Blake’s is celebrating with a nationwide sweepstakes aiming to fuel summer adventures. One winner will receive the ultimate grand prize worth nearly $5,000:
- $1,776 to explore America
- $1,500 Cruise America RV rental
- $1,000 Kampgrounds of America gift card
- America The Beautiful Parks Pass ($80 value)
- American Apple apparel and merchandise
The sweepstakes is open to United States citizens aged 21 and older. The sweepstakes ends Aug. 31. Those interested in entering may do so online on this website.
