Jack Daniel’s, McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 team celebrate 2026 F1 Season

To kick off the 2026 F1 season, the Jack Daniel Distillery announced the debut of a new limited-edition Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey in partnership with the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 team. The 2026 McLaren Mastercard F1 Team X Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, bottled at a higher 86 proof (43% abv), features a bottle design inspired by McLaren’s 1,000th Grand Prix and the distillery’s 160th anniversary.

“Jack Daniel’s and McLaren both possess a dedication to heritage, innovation and the pursuit of possibility,” said Mark Bacon, senior vice president of global managing director for Jack Daniel’s, in a statement. “This year’s limited-edition bottle celebrates that shared legacy with a bold design that gives fans a premium way to celebrate the spirit of both brands.”

Nick Martin, co-chief commercial officer at McLaren Racing, added: “This is a milestone year for McLaren as we look ahead to our 1000th Grand Prix in Miami. Our long‑standing partnership with Jack Daniel’s is built on shared ambition, and this limited‑edition bottle gives fans a special way to acknowledge this important chapter in our journey.”

The limited-edition Tennessee Whiskey features Jack Daniel’s signature grain bill of 80% corn, 8% rye, and 12% malted barley. Distilled in Lynchburg, Tenn., it is charcoal mellowed drop by drop through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal before aging in handcrafted new American white oak barrels. Bottled at an elevated 86 proof (43% ABV), higher than Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 standard 80 proof, it delivers a fuller, more robust flavor with notes of caramel, vanilla, and toasted oak, finishing smooth and creamy, the company says.

The bottle wrap motif was created to match McLaren’s 1000th Formula 1 Grand Prix celebration designs that will feature throughout the 2026 season.

The 2026 McLaren Mastercard F1 Team X Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey will be available this month in F1 Grand Prix global markets and other select locations in 700-ml and 1-liter bottle sizes. The suggested retail price for the 1-liter bottle is $34.99.
