Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 adds 3-liter bottle

The Jack Daniel Distillery is celebrating this holiday season bigger than ever with the permanent introduction of its iconic Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey in a 3-liter bottle. Available in the U.S. for the first time since Prohibition, the large format arrives right on schedule for whiskey fans who are seeking the gift that keeps on pouring.
“Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey has been at the heart of everything we make at the Jack Daniel Distillery since the days of Mr. Jack himself,” said Chris Fletcher, Master Distiller at Jack Daniel’s, in a statement. “We hope this bold new take will help create timeless holiday memories that last long after the bottle is gone.”
Every drop of Old No. 7 is crafted in Lynchburg, Tenn., starting with Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey mash bill of 80% corn, 12% malted barley and 8% rye. After it's mellowed through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal, the whiskey is matured in handcrafted, new American white oak barrels, resultingin a smooth whiskey with an aroma of vanilla, caramel, and almond and a well-rounded finish, the company says.
In addition to the new 3-liter offering, Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey can be purchased in the United States in 50-ml-, 100-ml, 200-ml, 375-ml, 750-ml, 1-liter and 1.75-liter sizes.
Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey is offered at 40% ABV (80 proof) in 3-liter bottles across the United States, with a suggested retail price of $79.99.
