Gatorade adds new line for 2026
Gatorade Lower Sugar made with 75% less sugar than flagship line

Gatorade is releasing a new product: Gatorade Lower Sugar, the brand’s first ever sports drink with 75% less sugar than Gatorade Thirst Quencher, it says.
The new sports drink also contains no artificial flavors, sweeteners or colors from artificial sources, while delivering the bold Gatorade color that athletes know and love, it adds.
The product was developed to meet the needs of consumers who want a sports drink from a brand they trust, but with less sugar and without artificials.
“With Gatorade Lower Sugar, we’re expanding our portfolio to meet the evolving needs of today’s athletes while still delivering the hydration and flavor they know and love — now with 75% less sugar and no artificial colors. This addition reflects our continued focus on delivering science-backed options to do what we do best: solve athlete problems,” said Anuj Bhasin, senior vice president of marketing for Gatorade, in a statement.
Gatorade Lower Sugar will hit shelves nationwide in spring of 2026 and will be launched in four flavors: Fruit Punch, Lemonade and Glacier Cherry, as well as Rain Berry, the return of a fan favorite flavor to Gatorade’s lineup.
Gatorade Lower Sugar will be available at a suggested retail price of $1.89-$3.39 and be available in 28-fl. oz, 20-fl. oz and 12-fl. oz bottles.
