The non-alcohol brewery, Athletic Brewing Co., Milford, Conn., announced the second installment in its series of limited-edition brews with Netflix. The collaboration series features three unique, co-branded non-alcoholic beers.

The latest creation is inspired by Netflix’s five-part docuseries “Our Oceans.” The brew is appropriate named Marine Odyssey IPA, and it celebrates the beauty and complexity of our shared seas. The hazy IPA “features a majestic mix of hops, and a delicate grain blend for a bright and refreshing drinking experience,” the brewery says.

“We’re thrilled to unveil the second release of our three-part collaboration series with Netflix,” said Andrew Katz, chief marketing officer of Athletic, in a statement. “Just as ‘Our Oceans’ uses groundbreaking technology to capture the hidden beauty of marine life, Marine Odyssey embodies the spirit of innovation and dedication to quality. We hope this release invites viewers to dive deeper into the wonder of our oceans and inspires a renewed appreciate for the natural world around us.”

The IPA is available now, just in time for the debut of “Our Oceans.” The documentary series premiered on Netflix on Nov. 20 and is narrated by former President Barack Obama. It takes viewers on a 75,000-mile cruise across and beneath oceans, using cutting-edge scientific research and newly developed underwater filmmaking technology.

Marine Odyssey contains premium ingredients, the brewery adds, including carefully selected hops and grains. The brew is made with Moteuka, Riwaka and Southern Passion hops, featuring notes of citrus and a slightly sweet finish. These ingredients result in an aromatic wave of grapefruit, orange and lemongrass. Each 12-ounce can is less than 0.5% alcohol-by-volume (ABV) and contains just 60 calories.

Consumers can find the beer nationally at select retail locations in the United States and on www.athleticbrewing.com. Those in Canada also can purchase Marine Odyssey on www.athleticbrewing.ca.

Additionally, Athletic will donate $15,000 to SeaTrees as part of its Two For The Trails environmental grant program. The money will support SeaTrees’ Coastal Watershed Restoration project of the San Elijo Lagoon in Cardiff, Calif. The funds will help restore the salt marsh, the brewery notes, including the eradication of invasive plants, the procurement and planting of essential native species, and necessary maintenance and monitoring.
