In celebration of Día de Muertos on Nov. 1 and 2, Tequila Don Julio released the Tequila Don Julio 70: Día de Muertos Artist Edition as a tribute to one of the most anticipated Mexican holidays of the year, where traditions unite generations of friends and family. 

Tequila Don Julio 70 features the rich complexity of an Añejo and the crisp agave flavor of a Blanco, the company says.

The limited Día de Muertos Artist Edition features a special box design by Mexican Artist Claudio Limón as a colorful celebration of the holiday, blending the intricate illustrations as well as the vibrant colors and emblems, like marigolds and skull figures, of which Día de Muertos celebration is known for. As a native of Jalisco, Mexico, where Tequila Don Julio was born, Claudio is known around the world for his signature artistic style that encompasses the colors and joys of Mexican culture, which he also brought to life in the stunning murals at the Tequila Don Julio distillery.
