Woodford Reserve, a brand of Brown-Forman Corp., released a new limited-edition bourbon: Chocolate Malt Whisper. The new, limited-edition dark spirit is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon that was produced immediately after the production of the spirit that was later released as the 2019 Master’s Collection edition, Chocolate Malted Rye, the company says. Some of the flavor notes from that Malted Rye carried over in the distillate of the next batch of bourbon that resulted in a liquid medley of dark chocolate, cocoa and roasted coffee with fruity and citrus notes, it adds. Chocolate Malt Whisper Bourbon is available in 375-ml bottles and has a 45.2% ABV. With a suggested retail price of $49.99, Chocolate Malt Whisper Bourbon is available at the Woodford Reserve Distillery’s gift shop and at select Kentucky retailers.
