OneCircle recently launched its 1/6 Barrel (bbl) KeyKeg and UniKeg, which has been developed and produced in the United States. The new size seamlessly connects to the distribution channel, stock and dispensing systems, the company says. Among the features of the smaller barrel size are the ability to lock in freshness and provide a longer shelf life (bag-in-keg); a pressure-resistant double wall design; customized branding possibilities; a perfectly stackable and stable design for handling and logistics; and lightweight and 100 percent recyclable and circular. The company reports it also has joined the Plastic Alliance and signed its declaration that its products meet the European Union’s environmental criteria.  The sustainable packaging solution is being used for beer, wine, carbonated soft drinks in the United States, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
