Jose Cuervo Tradicional
Jose Cuervo Tradicional has released its first añejo tequila: Tradicional Añejo, born in the heart of Mexico and borrowing from Irish whiskey’s craft. As a premium tequila, Tradicional Añejo is made with the original Cuervo family recipe from 1795, matured for more than 12 months in new American oak barrels, then finished for up to four months in Irish single malt whiskey barrels to create a unique and complex añejo, the company says. Tradicional Añejo is 40 percent alcohol by volume and sells for a suggested retail price of $32.99 for 750-ml bottle.
