Seattle-based Jade Leaf Matcha expanded its portfolio with its newest product line: Matcha Latte Infusions. Available in four varieties — Glow, Protect, Think and Balance — each infusion blends functional ingredients and adaptogens into CCOF-certified organic Japanese matcha.

“We started seeing our customers posting different healthy additions they were mixing into their matcha lattes on Instagram,” said Jade Leaf Matcha co-founder Marc St Raymond, in a statement. “A few of these ingredients we would see over and over again — collagen, turmeric, functional mushrooms — which got us thinking, how do we make this easier for our customers?

“Managing a cabinet full of different superfoods and adaptogens can be time consuming and costly, not to mention the added difficulty of getting the best quality,” he continued. “With this in mind, we saw an opportunity to source the best ingredients, bring them together into convenient, delicious blends, and our Matcha Latte Infusions were born.”

The following is further details on the four varieties:

  • Glow: The unsweetened variety incorporate collagen and biotin to support healthy skin, hair and nails, as well as organ and tissue health. Glow also is paleo and keto friendly as well as dairy and gluten free.
  • Protect: Featuring ayurvedic herbs such as turmeric, the unsweetened product also contains ginger, cardamom, cinnamon and black pepper. Protect also is paleo, vegan and keto friendly as well as dairy and gluten free.
  • Think: The unsweetened variety blends lion’s mane and cordyceps, functional mushrooms that support brain health, cognitive function, energy and focus, as well as ginger root. Think also is paleo, vegan and keto friendly as well as dairy and gluten free.
  • Balance: Incorporating probiotics and prebiotics, the unsweetened variety also includes ginger root. Balance also is paleo, vegan and keto friendly as well as dairy and gluten free.

Featuring premium organic Japanese matcha, Matcha Latte Infusions provide green tea nutrients with about one-third of the caffeine in a cup of coffee (30-40mg). Additionally, each sip includes pure organic acacia senegal, a soluble fiber that helps support a healthy, stable gut, as well as naturally occurring L-theanine for a relaxed, alert feeling without the jitters, according to the company. The tea mixes are designed to be consumed by blending, whisking or shaking with milk until smooth and served either hot or iced.

Sold in packs of 10 count for $14.95 and 30 count for $39.95, each new Matcha Latte Infusions is available on jadeleafmatcha.com. The product also are available on Amazon, Walmart and in select retails in seven count packs for $12.99.
