SodaStream celebrates International Women’s Day

Brand launches ‘SHE’ limited-edition bottle

In celebration of International Women’s Day last month, SodaStream launched a limited-edition, collectable “SHE” reusable bottle that celebrates women who have made impactful changes and encouraged women to take a stand, the company says. The reusable bottle is wrapped in unbranded “SHE” packaging, which opens to reveal and celebrate stories of iconic women that have influenced the world, it adds. The bottle also features the message, “She changed the world, now it’s my turn,” which calls upon women to be environmentally responsible by switching to reusable packaging. “At SodaStream, we take pride in empowering women from all backgrounds,” said SodaStream’s Chief People Officer Galit Zucker, in a statement. “In our factory, we employ women from many different communities and give them equal opportunity to build a career while respecting their religious norms. In that spirit, we are happy to take part in International Women’s Day celebrations and share our belief that every woman can make a change in this world.” The brand invites women to share their stories about the women who inspire them to make positive changes via hashtag #she on Instagram, as well as tagging @sodastream. For each post, the brand will donate $1 to the Women’s Earth and Climate Action Network. In addition, 1,000 stories will be selected and each winner will receive the limited-edition “SHE” bottle to keep or pass on to their “SHE,” the company says.
