Afinia Label recently launched its L701 color label printer, its lowest cost labeler featuring Memjet technology, which incorporates high speeds, high-quality printing and low cost of ownership, the company says. The mid-run digital label printer brings efficiency and flexibility to in-house labels as it can directly print on inkjet-printable, die-cut labels and tag stock. The L701 supports printing roll-to-roll; roll-to-cut, with the option of printing and presenting the label; and can accept fanfold stock for applications where space is at a premium, it adds. The printer features five 150-ml capacity ink cartridges, and can produce labels in full-color, with photo-quality, at print speeds as fast as 40 feet a minute. The L701 can enable companies to manage label inventory without sacrificing the look of their brand, according to the company.
