Redd’s, a brand Chicago-based MillerCoors, the U.S. joint venture between SABMiller and Molson Coors Brewing Co., unveiled its new Limited Pick, a series of special-release ales that will be available for a limited time. The 2016 special releases will feature three beers over the course of the year: Redd's Cranberry Ale, Redd's Blueberry Ale and Redd's Ginger Apple Ale.

Cranberry Ale delivers a slightly sweet, tart cranberry taste, balanced with crisp apple notes and a smooth finish, while Blueberry Ale boasts a balanced apple and blueberry aroma, while offering hints of  ripe blueberry  and an apple finish, the company says. Ginger Apple Ale delivers the fresh taste of ginger with hints of Redd's crisp apple, it adds.

Like the original Apple Ale, the Limited Pick ales are 5 percent alcohol by volume.

Redd's Cranberry Ale will kick off the release of the series this month, followed by Redd's Blueberry Ale in April, and Ginger Apple Ale rounding out the year in September. All beers will be available for a limited time while supplies last.

"Our fans asked for new, refreshing flavors, and we're ready to deliver with our Limited Pick series," said Lisa Rudman, Redd's family of brands marketing manager, in a statement. "This year will be extremely exciting as fans will have the option to try new flavors in addition to the three year-round flavors. And, we want everyone to stay tuned for 2017 because we have more exciting beers coming for the Limited Pick series."

Redd's Limited Pick flavors will be available nationwide at most grocery and convenience stores in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles and 16-ounce cans and in the variety pack.
